The SI consists of two apartments, including Risk Management and Insurance, and Actuarial Science, along with four research institutes which are respectively Chinese Insurance Market and Regulation, Risk Management and Actuarial Science, Risk Measurement and Prediction, and Financing  Investment Risk and Wealth Management. In addition, the provincial-level Insurance and Actuarial Science Laboratory consists of a social service center, both well-equipped and full-featured.
